Vorcaro diz à PF que “tem amigos em todos os Poderes” ao negar influência política no caso Master
Banqueiro afirma que contatos não influenciaram negócios e nega apoio político para evitar prisão ou rejeição de venda
O banqueiro Daniel Vorcaro, dono do Banco Master, afirmou em depoimento à Polícia Federal (PF) que mantém “amigos em todos os Poderes”, mas negou que essas relações tenham tido qualquer influência na tentativa de venda da instituição ao Banco Regional de Brasília (BRB) ou em sua situação judicial, incluindo a prisão e o uso de tornozeleira eletrônica. A declaração ganhou destaque após o ministro Dias Toffoli, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), autorizar a divulgação dos vídeos das oitivas.
Durante o depoimento prestado em 30 de dezembro de 2025, Vorcaro foi questionado pela delegada responsável, Janaina Palazzo, sobre supostos contatos com autoridades políticas e se teria pedido apoio para viabilizar a operação entre o Master e o BRB. O empresário negou qualquer pedido de ajuda e afirmou que, se tivesse contado com esse tipo de influência, não estaria sob medidas cautelares impostas pela Justiça.
Afirmando contatos, mas negando interferência
Vorcaro relatou que conversou em algumas poucas oportunidades com o governador do Distrito Federal, Ibaneis Rocha (MDB), sobre aspectos técnicos relacionados à proposta de aquisição do Banco Master pelo BRB, mas disse que tais encontros foram restritos a “conversas institucionais” e não configuram apoio político para favorecer o negócio.
Questionado sobre sua rede de relações, o banqueiro respondeu que “tem amigos em todos os Poderes”, mas afirmou não saber nominar individualmente quem frequentava sua casa, e que essas relações não têm relação com o caso investigado.
Negativas diretas sobre apoio e consequências
Ao negar qualquer apoio político que pudesse ter facilitado o desfecho da venda ao BRB, Vorcaro destacou: “Se eu tenho tantas relações políticas… e se eu tivesse pedido a ajuda desses políticos, eu não estaria aqui de tornozeleira, eu não teria sido preso e estava com minha família sofrendo o que a gente está sofrendo.”
A rejeição da compra do Master pelo Banco Central em setembro de 2025, seguida da liquidação extrajudicial da instituição e da deflagração da Operação Compliance Zero pela PF, fez com que Vorcaro se tornasse alvo de investigação por suspeita de fraudes envolvendo créditos sem lastro.

A divulgação dos vídeos das oitivas — incluindo o depoimento de Vorcaro, do ex-presidente do BRB e de representantes do Banco Central — ampliou a repercussão do caso nas esferas política e jurídica.
