Irã rejeita intimidação dos EUA e reforça discurso de dissuasão militar, diz autoridade iraniana
Em evento oficial, general iraniano afirmou que Teerã não cederá a pressões de Washington e destacou avanços científicos na defesa após conflitos recentes.
O Irã reiterou sua postura de não se deixar intimidar por declarações das autoridades dos Estados Unidos e defendeu um discurso fortalecido de dissuasão militar, segundo declarações do vice-comandante-em-chefe da Guarda Revolucionária Islâmica do Irã (IRGC), brigadeiro-general Ahmad Vahidi. A posição foi proclamada durante um evento na Universidade de Teerã, onde também foram homenageados cientistas e militares mortos em decorrência de confrontos recentes.
Vahidi disse que as ameaças de autoridades americanas “não intimidam” o Irã e que o país continua a fortalecer suas capacidades de defesa diante de uma retórica que considerou agressiva por parte de Washington. Ele aproveitou o discurso para destacar o desenvolvimento científico da indústria de defesa iraniana após o confronto de 12 dias com Estados Unidos e Israel, classificando o episódio como um impulso para inovação tecnológica no setor.
O general também mencionou que milhares de ideias científicas de diferentes setores foram integradas ao esforço tecnológico de defesa, com várias iniciativas agora em processo de produção. Essa ênfase em avanço militar ocorre em meio a tensões crescentes entre Irã e EUA, que recentemente aumentaram o envio de forças navais ao Oriente Médio e reforçaram apelos por negociações sobre questões nucleares e de segurança.
Em resposta a uma postura mais dura de Washington, o ministro das Relações Exteriores iraniano, Abbas Araqchi, afirmou que o Irã não solicitou negociações diretas com os Estados Unidos e que conversações formais não podem avançar enquanto houver ameaças e exigências coercitivas.
O contexto de pressão externa inclui advertências recentes do presidente norte-americano, que exigiu negociações sobre o programa nuclear iraniano sob risco de ações militares mais severas, reforçando a presença de uma “armada” norte-americana na região.
