PF abre novo processo administrativo contra Eduardo Bolsonaro por faltas não justificadas ao serviço

A Polícia Federal (PF) abriu um novo processo administrativo disciplinar sumário contra o ex-deputado federal Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) por faltas não justificadas ao serviço após o fim de seu mandato parlamentar. A investigação foi instaurada pela Corregedoria da PF no Rio de Janeiro para apurar a ausência do ex-parlamentar ao cargo de escrivão, carreira que ele ocupa desde antes de ingressar na vida política.
Segundo a portaria que instaurou o procedimento na última terça-feira (27), a apuração vai verificar se as ausências de Eduardo Bolsonaro ao trabalho foram voluntárias e não justificadas — o que pode configurar abandono de cargo e resultar, ao final do processo, na demissão do servidor caso fique comprovada a falta de retorno ao posto.
Contexto da perda do mandato e retorno à PF
Eduardo Bolsonaro teve seu mandato de deputado federal cassado em dezembro de 2025 após acumular faltas injustificadas à Câmara dos Deputados e não retornar ao Brasil, permanecendo nos Estados Unidos desde fevereiro de 2025. Com a perda do mandato, a PF publicou ato determinando seu retorno imediato ao cargo de escrivão, função que ele deixou perto do início de sua carreira política.
O novo processo administrativo é distinto do procedimento anterior aberto em setembro de 2025 e se concentra, exclusivamente, na análise das faltas consecutivas ou intercaladas sem justificativa, que podem somar mais de 30 dias consecutivos ou 60 dias intercalados dentro de 12 meses conforme regras disciplinares do serviço público.
Possíveis consequências e defesa
Se confirmadas as faltas injustificadas e a conclusão de que houve abandono de cargo, Eduardo Bolsonaro poderá ser demitido da Polícia Federal. A abertura do processo não é ainda um julgamento definitivo, e a defesa terá oportunidade de apresentar justificativas ou evidências contrárias às acusações.
