Caso Orelha: polícia monta esquema especial de segurança para chegada de investigados dos EUA
Polícia Civil e Militar mobilizam reforços no aeroporto catarinense para receber dois adolescentes que voltarão ao Brasil sob investigação pela morte de um cão comunitário, em meio a temores de protestos
A Polícia Civil de Santa Catarina está preparando um esquema especial de segurança no aeroporto para a chegada de dois adolescentes investigados nos Estados Unidos no âmbito do caso que apura a morte brutal do cão comunitário conhecido como Orelha, na Praia Brava, em Florianópolis. A operação contará com apoio da Polícia Militar e reforços na segurança do terminal aéreo, embora autoridades não tenham divulgado detalhes sobre data, horário ou local do desembarque.
Segundo o delegado-geral da Polícia Civil de Santa Catarina, Ulisses Gabriel, a estratégia foi montada diante da possibilidade de manifestações convocadas nas proximidades do aeroporto, o que poderia colocar em risco não apenas os investigados, mas também outros passageiros, incluindo cerca de 113 adolescentes que viajam com os suspeitos em uma excursão programada antes dos episódios de violência.
Dois inquéritos e investigação em andamento
O caso desencadeou dois inquéritos distintos. Um apura a agressão ao cão Orelha, que sofreu lesões graves e acabou sendo submetido à eutanásia após ser encontrado com ferimentos contundentes; o outro investigava coação de testemunhas durante as apurações, já concluído com o indiciamento de três adultos — dois empresários e um advogado, todos parentes dos adolescentes.
Autoridades explicaram que as identidades dos investigados não foram divulgadas em respeito às regras de sigilo previstas no Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (ECA), e que a Polícia Civil analisou mais de mil horas de imagens de diversas câmeras de segurança para reunir elementos de investigação, embora nenhum vídeo tenha registrado diretamente o momento em que o cão foi agredido.
Segurança e preocupação com manifestações
O delegado-geral ressaltou que o reforço na segurança não está relacionado a qualquer ameaça direta, mas sim à precaução diante de eventuais atos de rua que possam ocorrer no entorno do aeroporto durante a chegada dos suspeitos do exterior. A reserva de detalhes sobre o desembarque faz parte da estratégia para evitar concentração de grupos e preservar a integridade de passageiros inocentes.
