Moraes solicita ao STF agendamento de julgamento de Bolsonaro e outros sete réus por tentativa de golpe
Com o encerramento das alegações finais, relator da ação pede à Primeira Turma do STF que marque data em breve para julgamento do núcleo central da trama golpista
O ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), Alexandre de Moraes, solicitou nesta quinta-feira (14 de agosto de 2025) ao presidente da Primeira Turma, Cristiano Zanin, que agende o julgamento presencial da ação penal que envolve o ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro e outros sete acusados integrados ao chamado núcleo crucial da tentativa de golpe de Estado após as eleições de 2022.
O pedido foi feito logo após a entrega das alegações finais pela Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR) e pelas defesas dos réus, marcando o fim da fase de instrução processual. Com isso, Moraes prepara o relatório final, que precede os votos dos ministros da Primeira Turma.
Segundo apuração, o julgamento já pode ser marcado para setembro, com expectativa de realizar sessões presenciais em breve.

A denúncia apresentada pela PGR acusa os réus de crimes graves como tentativa de golpe de Estado, organização criminosa armada, dano qualificado e deterioração de patrimônio público tombado — em conjunto, podem resultar em penas superiores a 40 anos de prisão.
A Operação Contragolpe, coordenada pela Polícia Federal e homologada pelo STF, já havia apontado indícios contundentes da articulação militar e política para impedir a posse do presidente Lula após as eleições de 2022
