Deputado federal posta símbolo histórico e destaca discurso de Sanae Takaichi
O deputado federal Kim Kataguiri (União Brasil-SP) causou repercussão nesta quarta-feira ao publicar no X uma foto que mostra a bandeira imperial japonesa e fazer elogios à nova primeira-ministra do Japão, Sanae Takaichi.
Na publicação, Kataguiri elogiou o “discurso conservador firme em defesa da soberania japonesa” de Takaichi e destacou sua promessa de revogar o Artigo 9 da Constituição japonesa — dispositivo que proíbe o país de manter Forças Armadas em tempo de paz.
A bandeira usada na imagem é associada ao Japão imperial do século XX e vem sendo tema de controvérsia: ativistas e organizações internacionais argumentam que o símbolo está ligado ao expansionismo militar japonês e a violações ocorridas durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Especialistas apontam que o uso desse tipo de símbolo por figuras públicas pode gerar tensão diplomática ou desconforto junto a comunidades que sofreram com a ocupação japonesa.
Ainda não foi divulgado se Kataguiri recebeu notificações ou críticas oficiais por parte do governo ou de embaixadas. O episódio já entrou nos debates políticos sobre o uso de símbolos históricos em contexto diplomático e político.
