Descarga elétrica durante manifestação política na Praça do Cruzeiro surpreende participantes, provoca dezenas de feridos e acende alerta sobre segurança em eventos ao ar livre.
Um raio atingiu as proximidades de um ato político organizado pelo deputado federal Nikolas Ferreira em Brasília, deixando 89 pessoas feridas, das quais 11 estão internadas em estado grave, segundo informações apuradas nesta segunda-feira.
O incidente ocorreu no domingo à tarde, na Praça do Cruzeiro, durante a mobilização que reunia apoiadores do parlamentar em meio a uma forte chuva com trovoadas. A descarga elétrica surpreendeu a multidão, provocando pânico, quedas e lesões em participantes que aguardavam a continuidade do evento.
Equipes do Corpo de Bombeiros e do serviço de emergência foram acionadas imediatamente ao local para atender os feridos. Das 89 vítimas, ao menos 47 foram levadas a hospitais da região, incluindo o Hospital de Base do Distrito Federal, onde parte dos feridos segue sob cuidados médicos mais intensivos.
De acordo com relatos de participantes e profissionais de saúde, muitos dos feridos apresentaram queimaduras e sintomas compatíveis com choques elétricos indiretos causados pela descarga atmosférica. A chuva torrencial favoreceu condições perigosas, especialmente em áreas descampadas e expostas, onde a manifestação acontecia.
Testemunhas relataram momentos de pânico quando o raio caiu próximo ao público, e imagens compartilhadas nas redes sociais mostram as pessoas correndo em busca de abrigo enquanto ambulâncias e equipes de resgate se deslocavam para a Praça do Cruzeiro.
O ato político, que havia reunido um grande número de apoiadores em Brasília, ganhou atenção também pelo risco que as condições meteorológicas apresentaram. Autoridades de saúde e segurança alertaram sobre os perigos de realizar grandes aglomerações ao ar livre sob tempestades com atividade elétrica, reforçando a necessidade de monitoramento das condições climáticas em eventos públicos.
