Eduardo Bolsonaro pode ser demitido da Polícia Federal após perder mandato, alerta processo administrativo

Após a cassação do mandato de deputado federal de Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL), seu retorno obrigatório às funções como escrivão da Polícia Federal (PF) abriu caminho para um possível processo de demissão dentro da corporação, segundo análise de especialistas e documentos ligados à situação funcional do ex-parlamentar.
Eduardo, filho do ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro, teve o mandato declarado perdido pela Mesa Diretora da Câmara dos Deputados em 18 de dezembro de 2025 por ausência reiterada às sessões deliberativas. O ato administrativo que formalizou a perda do cargo também resultou no término do afastamento que ele havia obtido para exercer mandato eletivo.
Com a perda do mandato, a Polícia Federal determinou nesta sexta-feira (2) o retorno imediato de Eduardo Bolsonaro ao exercício funcional na corporação, conforme publicado em ato no Diário Oficial da União. O documento ressalta que a regularização da situação formal se faz necessária e que uma ausência injustificada ao serviço poderá ensejar “providências administrativas e disciplinares cabíveis”.
Risco de demissão por abandono de cargo
A exigência de retorno decorre do fim do vínculo entre a atividade parlamentar e a atividade funcional como escrivão da PF. Com isso, Eduardo passa a estar sujeito integralmente às regras administrativas que regem os servidores públicos federais.
De acordo com a legislação que rege os servidores civis — especialmente a Lei nº 8.112/1990 — o abandono de cargo ou a inassiduidade habitual pode ser enquadrado como falta grave, abrindo espaço para um processo disciplinar que pode resultar em demissão, com direito à ampla defesa e ao devido processo legal.
Especificamente, a lei define como abandono de cargo a ausência intencional por mais de 30 dias consecutivos, além de prever que faltas interpoladas podem caracterizar inassiduidade habitual passível de sanções disciplinares.
Histórico e contexto
Enquanto deputado, Eduardo Bolsonaro estava licenciado da PF para exercer mandato. Ele permanece nos Estados Unidos desde fevereiro de 2025, período durante o qual sua ausência acumulada na Câmara contribuiu para a perda do mandato.
Antes de ser parlamentar, ele havia ingressado na Polícia Federal em 2010 como escrivão e passou por diversas unidades da corporação.
O processo administrativo dentro da PF para apurar possíveis irregularidades na atuação de Eduardo já vinha tramitando desde 2025, incluindo representações que questionavam sua conduta ao atuar politicamente no exterior enquanto servidor de carreira.

O ex-deputado ainda não se pronunciou oficialmente sobre a determinação de retorno e sobre o risco de demissão no âmbito da Polícia Federal.
